Third Riddle and Mission (Food chain)

Our third riddle led us to study the food chain in general and the dinosaur food chain in particular. We studied each link in the food chain (sun, producer, herbivore, carnivore), and distinguish dinosaurs into carnivores and herbivores. We added information to our encyclopedia about dinosaurs and made dinosaurs in various ways and materials. Specifically, the children created their own dinosaur in the game "Dinosaur maker online". The game gave children the choice to choose their own background, to choose the color, the body, the head, to add wings or not, to give the name they want to their dinosaur and to describe it (whether it is a herbivore or carnivore, where it lives, etc). The children "built" dinosaurs with the building material of the class, with shapes, cardboard, balloons, tooth sticks, etc.. They played a collaborative game with the schools-partners in which, at a certain time, they had to locate, select, and put the dinosaurs in the right place depending on their diet. We used the beebot to learn the names of the dinosaurs.
