In this unit, we learn about the paleontologist profession. We asked our students to search and find information about it with their parents, and to present them to their classmates. Then we gather all the material and made the DinoStem encyclopedia. Divided into groups of two schools, we played the online game "Paleontologist tools" and we had a lot of fun! Our 4th riddle gave us the opportunity to study light and the phenomenon of shadow. With the presentation of appropriate supervisory material, with the help of the game "sun, light, and shadows", our young students had the opportunity to make predictions, assumptions, experiment and to draw conclusions about the phenomenon of shadow. We talked about light sources and their separation into physical and technical and with the help of beebot we learned to distinguish them. We went out into the schoolyard and the kids spotted and took pictures of the shadows that formed and talked about them. We make a group painting based on dinosaurs and their shadows and we took part in the painting competition with the title "The kingdom of the shadows" with the participation of all the partner schools.
